Your Privacy Matters

Tennis Score Pro is a tennis scoring app developed by MangyByte Ltd, available as a phone companion app on Android and a watch app on Wear OS. This privacy policy explains how the apps handle your information.

            The short version: Tennis Score Pro does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data with any server, third party, or external service. Everything stays on your own devices.
        

What the App Does

Tennis Score Pro is a tennis match scorekeeper. The Wear OS app keeps score during a match. The Android phone companion stores your match history, player profile, statistics, and achievements so you can review your form over time.

Data Stored On Your Device

The Android phone app stores the following information locally on your device only, in a private database that never leaves the phone:

Match history (opponent name, scores, date, format, location, optional notes)
Player profile fields you fill in (display name, club, handedness, UTR, NTRP, weekly goal)
Calculated statistics and achievement progress

The Wear OS app stores the in-progress match score in memory while you are playing. There is no server-side database and no online account.

Watch ↔ Phone Sync

When you finish a match on the Wear OS app and tap sync, the watch sends the completed match to the paired Android phone via the Wear OS Data Layer. This is a Google-provided service that delivers messages directly between your own paired devices over the local Bluetooth/Wi-Fi connection. The data does not pass through MangyByte servers and is not stored anywhere except on your phone after delivery.

Permissions

The apps request only what is needed to keep the screen on during a match and to communicate between your watch and phone via the Wear OS Data Layer. They do not access your location, contacts, camera, microphone, health data, calendar, files, or any other personal information.

Device Backups

Android has a system-level backup feature that, if you have enabled it on your device, may include the local match-history database in your Google account backup. This backup is controlled by your Android device settings and your Google account, not by MangyByte. To exclude or remove backups, use your device's backup settings.

Third-Party Services

Tennis Score Pro does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or tracking services. There are no in-app purchases. There are no advertisements.

Children's Privacy

Tennis Score Pro is suitable for all ages. The apps do not collect personal data from any user, including children, and have no chat or social features.

Your Rights

Because all your data lives on your own device, you control it directly:

To delete a single match: open the match in the phone app and use the delete option.
To delete everything: uninstall the app, or clear the app's storage from Android Settings → Apps → Tennis Score Pro → Storage → Clear data.

If we update this privacy policy, the changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
